BAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

Sam,

I just read your exam today; otherwise, I wouldn't have included you in the e-mail about the final essay. I can only infer from your story that you had rather a rough year, and I'm sorry that your experience at Carleton has left you hoping for a Coyote intervention. Hopefully, you can find an outlet for your creative talent that is more rewarding. (And, yes, I am being sincere.)

I know the format of the course didn't really allow us to get to know each other--although I did get all of the references to your classmates. (If I hadn't had such a heavy teaching load, I would have sat in on some of the tutorials; it just wasn't possible.) So, for what it's worth, I'm more likely to be punchy from sleep deprivation than high on caffeine, and I'm not very fond of shouting or doughnuts. I am, however, always happy to read another Coyote story.

Take care,

S. Birkwood
